People are often fascinated by parrots, and these colorful and intelligent birds will soon be offered a helping “wing” up, thanks to a Plano area fundraiser.
Bird Endowment has plans in the works for its Blues Bash 2023, which is on the way for the Hilton Richardson Dallas. The festivities will run for two hours, and while they enjoy themselves, the guests will be doing a good turn for some critically endangered birds.
The festivities will feature food as well as a cash bar, and the attendees will be able to meet and mingle with fellow bird nerds and others who care about wildlife. An auction will take place, and the monies raised will help to fund projects that aid in preserving the blue throated macaw and a reserve in Bolivia that provides them with a safe refuge.
To add an extra twist of fun to the occasion, everyone who comes out is asked to wear their best blue attire, or they can even go all out and sport a blur hairdo. There will be a prize draw for to thank these guests for going the extra mile. Corporate Gifts for an event can be crafted by area printers.
The Bird Endowment's Blues Bash 2023 will be bringing lots of feathery fun to the Plano area on September 29th. The schedule for the funding and awareness raiser runs from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
