Plano’s part-time mermaids will soon be able to enjoy an activity that will give them a chance to mingle and swim with other ‘mer-folk’, and meet a special guest as well.
Elizabeth Swims, who is a well-known social media mermaid, will be on hand for the occasion, and there will be time for the guests to enjoy four hours of mingling, swimming or just a lazy float out on the water. It will be held in The Texas Pool, and tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
To thank those who come out for their support for the event, its planners will be offering free swag Bags to the first hundred attendees. These will be filled with an assortment of Promotional Products, including DIVINIA award winning cellular water, mermaid-themed bath bombs from Hallu, cellphone accessories by LoveHandle and lots of other treats that have been chosen for the occasion. These will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, and will be handed out as long as supplies last.
This inland taste of the sea will be on offer for local mer-folks on July 7, and the doors will be open at 10:00 am. The pool is located at 901 Springbrook Drive in Plano, and tickets will be priced at $10.00 for each guest and will be sold at the door.
