Plano’s pride in its agriculture history will be on full display when a local venue hosts a special event at the end of the month.
Those who attend the Friends of the Farmstead dinner, which will be held at Heritage Farmstead Museum, will enjoy a deep dive into Texas history. They will be treated to a BBQ supper as well as a variety of activities, and it will help to open the summer festival season.
The plans for the evening include the dinner as well as an assortment of interactive games such as pick a pig, chicken poop bingo, and Pancho’s Wine Pull, and the music for the occasion will be supplied by Raised Right Men. A dance floor will be set up in the Polebarn, and a live auction is in the works as well. The event will honor David Stolle and the work he has undertaken over the years to help preserve Texas history
Tickets for this farm-themed affair start at $100 each. Businesses in a community often donate branded Corporate Gifts as draw prizes or auction prizes to an event, which can help it to reach its fundraising goals.
This evening of fun and fundraising down on the farm will be on offer on Friday, May 31 at 1900 W 15th Street. It will begin at 6:00 pm and draw to a close at 10:30 pm.
