Plano makes splash with summer soire

A warm July evening of enjoying swimming under the stars is what’s in store for those who participate in an event organized for the Texas Pool.

An event that is filled with mermaid magic is on the way to the venue, and everyone who attends is encouraged to make a splash with their fanciest fins. While they swim, they will be doing so in a pool made in the shape of Texas, and it is in the National Register of Historic Places.

This will be the Pool’s first Sunset Mermaid Soiree, and it is limited to adults only. While they swim, the guests can enjoy a steel drums performance by Charles Duhon, and there will be special treats and treasures in the mix as well. The function will run for three hours, and ticket holders will be able to hit the water and watch the sky switch from sunset to stars.

The Texas Pool is preparing for its Sunset Mermaid Soiree, which is scheduled for July 29th. Ticket holders can drive starting at 6:30 pm, and the location for the event will be 901 Springbrook Drive in Plano.
