A Plano event that has been planned with pet parents in mind will be bringing some furry fun to the city’s downtown core, and it will feature activities for people and animals alike.
Barktoberfest will be a day dedicated to pets and the people who love them, and it will include an assortment of activities and opportunities to engage in some "retail therapy". It will run throughout the afternoon, and many of the shops and eateries in the district will be taking part.
The celebration will see the participating businesses have special pricing and other perks on offer, and there will be pop-up shopping experiences as well. A dog costume contest will see mutts strut their stuff, and a hat bar, permanent jewelry and food concessions will also be on site. There will be lots of fun photo ops, and there will be prizes presented to the top entries in the costume contest.
One of the ways organizers can help build the buzz for an upcoming activity is to order a branding package from a company that offers Logo Design. Print shops will be able to provide this service, and can work with most budgets.
Plano will be giving its pups and their people all the attention on October 11th. It will begin at 1:00 pm and continue on until 7:00 pm.
