Plano tea to feature special ballet guests

The Nutcracker ballet was first written by Tchaikovsky many years ago, and Plano kids will soon be treated to an afternoon that will feature some of the characters from this holiday-themed piece.

Parents who would like to add an extra touch of magic to their children’s holidays may want to purchase tickets for Tea with the Sugar Plum Fairy, which will feature an assortment of special guests. It is set to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Allen, and the ticket price will vary according to the options selected.

During the function, a variety of costumed characters will circulate among the tables, stopping to spend some time at each one. Mother Ginger will read a story, and there will be photo opportunities. The Snow Queen’s ice blue sleigh and the Sugar Plum Fairy’s jeweled throne will be on site, and Clara and the Nutcracker Prince will also be in attendance to meet the kids.

Each family has its own set of holiday traditions, and many communities host a variety of activities that tend to become local favorites. Print shops will be able to prepare mailers to send to local households that give them details about what is on offer in their area so they can include these activities in their plans.

This magical afternoon will start at 3:00 pm, and the ticket price starts at $15. Tickets are non-refundable, and each child will need to have an adult with them.
