This Fourth of July, people from Plano and the surrounding areas are invited to come and take in the spectacular fireworks show planned for the community.
Oak Point Park and Nature Reserve will serve as the venue for the function, and lots of free parking spots will be available for the evening. Those who come out can get the fun started with a visit to one of the many food trucks that will be parked on site and serving up a huge assortment of dishes. At 7:30 pm, the music, which will be provide by a live DJ service, will start, and the public is invited to come and kick up their heels while they socialize with friends and neighbors. When the clock strikes 9:30 am, it will be time to light up the night with the Stupendous Fireworks Show.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun, and the organizers remind those who do to bring along some lawn chairs, blankets, and their picnic basket and be ready to have a good time. Banners and other decorations for a large community celebration such as this can be provided by a local printer.
This celebration of America’s birthday has been planned for July 4th, starting at 5:00 pm. It is open to people of all ages, and additional details can be found on the Visit Plano website.
