An upcoming Plano event will be a way for local beer lovers to sample a selection of locally crafted brews, all while supporting the community’s businesses.
The Shops at Willow Bend have issued an invitation to the city to be part of the Beer Walk that it will be hosting this fall, and it promises to be a fun event for everyone who comes out. It will take place in the evening, and will double up as an opportunity to discover what these local retailers have to offer.
When members of the public arrive for the walk, they will check in at the grand entrance to The Shops at Willow Bend. Here, they will receive their own personal tasting glass featuring a fun graphic design as well as a sampling map, and they can then head out to explore the venue.
There will be 14 stops to visit, and at each, the participants can sample beer, meet the brewer, enjoy entertainment and shop to their heart’s content. A raffle is also in the works, and there will be five prizes in the draw.
This chance to support local businesses while enjoying craft beer will be on offer on Thursday, September 24. It will kick off at 5:30 pm, and more details are available on the Collin County website.
