This summer, Plano kids will be making a splash when they pay a visit to one of the city’s pools.
On Memorial Day Weekend, the community's aquatic facilities will be open for the summer season. Both indoor and outdoor pools are included, and there are six locations spread throughout the local area.
The summer schedule offers many public swims, and admission for this is included as one of the perks of having a Plano Recreation Center Membership. Drop-ins will also be welcome, and there is a daily admission rate at each of the locations. Plano Aquatic Center boasts both swimming facilities and an outdoor splash pad for the kids. Oak Point Recreation Center is undergoing an upgrade, which should be completed by the start of July, and a tentative reopening date of July 4 has been set.
The listing prepared by the city explained that the opening hour for each location will be set at a later date. Community recreation departments often choose to use the services of a poster printing company to keep the public abreast of what is going on in their hometown.
The Plano network of indoor and outdoor pools and the Plano Aquatic Center splash pad will officially open on May 28. The Visit Plano website has been updated so that it offers the most current information.
