Plano parents who want to introduce their child to a lifelong love of swimming may want to secure a spot in a class teaching basic water safety skills to babies and toddlers.
The Carpenter Park Recreation Center will be welcoming families for private swim classes for infants, and there will be a series of four sessions. Swim diapers are mandatory, and parents will not be in the pool.
Classes will be kept short, and they will teach babies how to turn over from their stomach to their back in the water so that they will be able to breathe, which can be a lifesaving skill. Any babies who participate and are able to walk will also be taught how to swim to the edge of the pool or steps. Registration for the activity starts at $110.
Swim classes can help kids to enjoy being in the water, giving them a skill they may be able to draw upon throughout their lives. Companies that prepare Letterheads and other business documents can design registration Forms and liability waivers for an event, as well as creating Flyers and Brochures to promote it taking place.
The start date for these Plano swim sessions will be Monday, November 7, and they will wind up on Thursday, November 10. They will all begin at 10:50 am.
