Plano is a city that values its small businesses, and at the end of the month, it will be joining communities all across the country in celebrating the role their play in the local economy.
The public has been invited to explore all that these establishments can offer them, and it is all part of the area’s Small Business Saturday celebrations.
A large selection of the retailers that call the city home have already signed on to participate in the event, and the list is continuing to grow. Many will be offering discounts and other specials in time for the holiday season.
The planners of the celebration felt there was too much going on for just one day, so the activities will be spread out over a whole weekend, and shops, eateries, cafes and many other establishments in the city's downtown core will be welcoming customers both old and new.
