Plano plans pop-up summer shopping party

Plano takes a lot of pride in its small business community, and these vendors will be setting up shop this July for a summer-themed shopping party.

The Shopping Days pop-up market will be a celebration of what makes the community special. Many businesses have signed on for the day, and its listing pointed out that at least 100 are expected to be on site for the gathering.

The function, which will be held at the Plano Event Center, will offer everything from jewelry, clothing and other textiles to home-made food. Admissions will be free of charge to the public, and it is being organized by Paola Ruiz Productions. Families are welcome to drop by, and the tables and booths will all be set up indoors so inclement weather won’t pose a problem. It will be open for browsing and buying for seven hours, starting at 9:30 am.

A small business, makers’ or other market that offers a one-stop shopping-style experience can draw a large crowd, as they will have many vendors all under one roof. Booth decor may help the participating companies to stand apart from the crowd, and this can be prepared by a local poster or banner printing company.

This opportunity to show lots of love to Plano’s small business side will be on offer on June 29th. Further information can be found on its Facebook page.
