A LinkedIn profile can be a powerful self-promotional tool, and the Plano Public Library wants to help locals take theirs to the next level.
The library will be offering an online learning session that may be of interest to anyone who would like to expand their professional network online while putting their own best foot forward. Titled “Rock Your LinkedIn Profile” it will be a two hour long workshop, and as it will take place virtually, those who are interested will be able to participate from wherever they might happen to be.
The facilitator of the function will introduce the attendees to a variety of ways they can create a strong profile on the business-oriented social media site, and there will be a discussion of how to build their personal brand. In addition, they will receive tips and advice for upgrading their resumé.
The organizers of this event have asked that all who are interested register in advance. A flyer printing company will be able to help spread the word to the public about how, when, and where an online learning session like this will be taking place.
The Plano Public Library has made plans to offer this workshop on April 30, beginning at 1:00 pm. Its website includes a link to follow to sign up to take part. Registrants are advised to use Chrome or Edge to join in the session.
