Budding artists from Plano who are looking for some summertime fun may wish to sign up to be a part of an art camp that will be on offer this July.
Kids from ages 5 to 12 years of age will be able to build their skills in different artistic methods such painting, sculpting and drawing, and the theme for the occasion is dinosaurs. While the camp is intended for those who are 12 or younger, older children may be permitted to join as well.
The classes will run from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and there will be a break partway through for a snack. These will be provided, but anyone who has allergies or other special dietary requirements is asked to provide their child with their own special foods. At the end of the week, each boy or girl who participates will take home a piece of pottery and also a mixed media work that they will have crafted themselves.
The camp will run from Monday until Friday, and will be held at Pipe and Palette Home Outfitters and Mixed Media Art Classes. Print shops can be called upon to provide any printed materials needed to ensure that this sort of event is a success.
The dates for this opportunity to local kids to nurture their artistic side run from July 16 until 20. The registration fee is $185.
