Plano event to provide inside scoop on post-secondary education

To ease the financial burden on the families of people heading to university or college, there is an event on the horizon for the Plano area that will explore the many different options available for choosing and paying for post-secondary education, and it is free to take a seat.

The workshop, which is intended for both middle and high school level scholars along with their parents or caregivers, will provide the insider scoop when it comes to university and college. The students will be organized into groups according to their grade level, as this way, they will receive the information that is most relevant to them.

Both English and Spanish speaking members of the public are welcome to participate in this event. Those who do will have an opportunity to meet with alumni, current university and college students, as well as local businesspeople, and this can help them to decide which educational track is best for them. At the end of the session, there will be a motivational talk, and there will also be drawing for an assortment of door prizes and other Promotional Products.

Those who wish to be a part of this experience, which will be offered on April 27 in the University of Texas at Dallas’s Student Services Building Addition, are asked to register ahead of time. The day is scheduled to start at 9:00 am.
