Downtown Plano is home to a thriving arts district, and this neighborhood will be the location for a day of fun that will celebrate the city’s creative side.
The venue has plans in the works for its annual Dickens festivities, which has proved to be a popular crowd pleaser. It will run for five hours in Haggard Park, and admission will be free of charge.
The plans for the evening will include chances to meet Santa and have photos taken with him, and everyone can warm up with a cup of hot cocoa or coffee. The younger guests can experience a taste of the Arctic on the snow slide, and everyone can support kids in the entrepreneurial market. The switch will be thrown on the venue’s holiday tree, and many of the businesses in the neighborhood will be offering extended shopping hours to the public. Free parking will be available.
When organizing a large community gathering like this, planners may need to select an assortment of decor options. A poster printing company will have many to choose from, along with moneysaving tips and other advice.
The Plano Arts District has invited one and all to join in the fun of its holiday kick-off. It will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 2. The contact phone number for the organizers is 972-922-1292.
