Fun for a cause for all ages at Plano brunch

Plano residents looking for a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon may want to check out a series of live performances on offer on the first Sunday of each month.

Everyone from kids on up to the seniors in the community are invited to take a seat in the audience for a high-energy show that promises a barrel of laughs. Angela’s Drag Brunch is all about comedy and having a great time, and the planners noted it is suitable for almost every age and occasion.

Tickets for the show are $15 each, and those who are age 21 and up, and who have an ID, will be able to purchase alcoholic beverages. The guests are reminded to bring some extra monies so they can tip the performers and wait staff if they feel they have given a stellar performance.

While the brunch has been planned as a fun event, it also has a higher purpose. It will raise funds for Tuckers Gift, which is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps those in the community who are living with HIV. A printing services company can prepare leaflets that give more information about a fundraiser's charity of choice, which can help the attendees to learn more about the cause they are supporting.

The doors for Angela’s Drag Brunch will open to ticket holders at 1:00 pm. It will be on offer at El Noa Noa Tex-Mex in Plano.
