McAllen luncheon to be signature fundraising event

A McAllen event will soon be taking aim at ending domestic violence, and the whole community is invited to support the celebration.

The luncheon will recognize the power women have to overcome and adapt, and it is being organized by Angels of Love to help fund its activities, such as providing free legal and advocacy services. One of its goals is to build an emergency shelter for victims of cosmetic violence, and this will be discussed during the function.

Once they have taken their seats, the ticket holders for the occasion will hear inspiring stories from women who will talk about how they were able to escape spousal abuse and go on to survive and even thrive. There are several sponsorship opportunities available for anyone who would like to go the extra mile in supporting this signature fundraiser, and these start at $100 each and go up to $5,000.

When organizing an inaugural event, many organizers try to build the buzz about it in the local area. A poster printing company may prove helpful in this area, and will have an assortment of ways of successfully marketing a fundraiser.

This chance to do a good turn for those fleeing spousal abuse will be on offer on August 13. Space at the Radisson Hotel at McAllen Airport has been reserved for the occasion.
