McAllen announces festival to support local businesses

The McAllen business community is always eager to find a way to connect with their customers, so owners are understandably excited for a festival that is scheduled to take place in August.

The 2026 Honey Pot Market has been created to support McAllen entrepreneurs who are keen to interact with their clients. This one-day event has been organized to provide residents with a means to interact with owners, to sample foods, and to purchase retail products. Although the primary focus of this event is associated with small- to medium-sized enterprises, additional on-site activities are expected to attract a wide audience.

Some attractions that have already been announced include live music, family-friendly games, photo opportunities, and meals provided by Black Bear Diner. Visitors are also encouraged to participate in a toy drive. The proceeds from this drive will be used to help McAllen children in need.

Community-oriented networking often represents an excellent way for businesses to boost brand awareness. Some common methods include handing out Business Cards, providing one-time discounts on specific products, and asking potential customers to join Mailing Lists.

The McAllen Honey Pot Market is being held on August 15th from 5 PM to 9 PM. All events will be hosted by Black Bear Diner located at 600 West Expressway 83. This event is free to attend, and open to all ages.
