McAllen hosts bumper automotive event
McAllen will welcome car enthusiasts from across the Rio Grande Valley as the McAllen International CarFest returns to the McAllen Convention Center.
This family-friendly showcase will include over 300 classic and custom vehicles from all over the country.
Now in its 14th year, attendees can expect exotic cars, muscle models, and even celebrity vehicles. Some of the categories include Camero, Chevy, Motorcycle, Mustang, and Ford. There will also be live entertainment from local artists, kids’ zones, and five food trucks with various refreshments and snacks.
Parking is free on-site, and guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure the good spots. This equally gives them time to explore both the indoor and outdoor exhibits. At such events, organizers can leverage printing services across community centers and dealerships to advertise show schedules.
Tickets for the event start at $10, with donations going to foundations such as Capable Kids and Make-A-Wish. Planners, therefore, urge attendees to purchase their tickets early and fill out the application form online to show off their cars. Organizations are free to request donations from the website and await a response from the director of the McAllen Convention Center.
Returning from January 30 to February 1, 2026, the 16th Annual McAllen International CarFest will be held at the McAllen Convention Centre, located at 700 Convention Center Blvd, McAllen.
