McAllen singles will get the chance to meet the love of their life at an upcoming mixer.
RGV Upscale Speed Dating is a curated social event with the intention of providing singles a safe in-person environment to meet romantic prospects. The focus is on an elegant ambiance and a streamlined pace that lends itself to brief introductory conversation.
Early registration is $20 until this Friday, January 30. Registering early is suggested as space is limited and seats will be filled based on gender ratio. Check-in at the door is at 6:30 pm and seating follows right after. The speed dating rounds begin at 7:00 pm
The format consists of a series of timed, five-minute conversations during which participants rotate and meet one another one on one. Short breaks are included to allow attendees to record impressions and indicate potential matches. After the structured portion of the event concludes, guests are invited to remain and socialize in a more informal setting within the lounge. Organizers state that mutual matches will be identified and communicated privately by email within 72 hours following the event. Poster printing can help set up themed events.
