The McAllen Public Library (MPL) has a book sale on its agenda for next month, raising funds while offering local bookworms the chance to grab some reading material at a discounted price.
The MPL will have a collection of gently used Books for sale, and the proceeds will be used to support the institution and its programming. It is being offered thanks to support from the MPL Library Volunteer Association, and the community has been invited to check it out in person
The titles included will be both fiction and non-fiction, and there will also be children’s books in the mix. Hardcover and paperbacks in both English and Spanish will be on offer, and DVDs will be available for any music lovers in the crowd. It will be open to shoppers for several hours.
Book sales give a library or other cultural institution a way to raise money in support of a cause while also promoting community literacy. A printer's graphic design team can use poster printing techniques to prepare promotional materials for fundraisers, often at a price that is easy of the organizers’ bottom line.
The MPL Book Sale will be held on Saturday, March 26 starting at 11:00 am. It will be open for browsing and buying until 6:00 pm. The sale is free to attend.
