McAllen foodies are revving up for a program that will see area mobile eateries showcase their menu to the community.
Food trucks from across the city will be rolling into McAllen Food Park for a series of special celebrations. Dubbed “Food Park Unplugged,” they will encourage the community to discover these small businesses. To help attract an even larger crowd, additional activities are on the agenda, and kids and pets are welcome.
A variety of local entertainers will be on hand throughout each of these evenings, and along with this, area crafters, collectors, and other vendors will be invited to set up shop. Everyone can stroll and browse as much as they wish, and the whole celebration will be informal and relaxed. Each session will run for two hours.
Food trucks are a type of small businesses that may benefit from the services of Print shops. One of the items they can provide to a customer is a vehicle wrap. These can include a custom graphic design, and the printer's staff will even be able to install it on site.
Food Park Unplugged, which is a production of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, will take place on the third Friday of each month, so the next one is February 18. The venue is at 10 North Broadway, and anyone who needs more details has been asked to call 956-682-2871.
