McAllen golfers to support companion animals in need
A McAllen area fundraiser will see local golfers hit the links while raising money for an organization that makes sure no companion animal is without a loving home of its own.
Yaqui Animal Rescue will be hosting its annual Golf Open, which will be held at McAllen Country Club. This is the charity’s largest fundraiser on its calendar, and all of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the rescue, helping to support over 250 animals in its care.
The activity, which is scheduled for early May, will welcome team registrations, and the cost to do so is $375 each. Sponsorships are also available, and these start at the Tee/Hole level and go up from there. The price for the packages starts at $500 and goes up to the Platinum Level at $5,000.
The companies and individuals who choose to sponsor the occasion will have their generosity recognized in a variety of ways. One of these is by having their logo design and other branding displayed at the tee box. Those who would like to take advantage of this offer will need to submit their application by no later than April 15th.
