McAllen loves a good crab boil, and this spring, a festival will be bringing the seafood as well as all the fixings for an afternoon of food-filled fun.
While the community’s shellfish fans enjoy a feast that features the food they love, they can soak in the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere of the Rio Grande Snow Crab festival. It will be held for one afternoon only, and as there will only be 500 tickets available, it is expected they will be snapped up quickly.
Each of the ticket holders will be able to enjoy a feed of crab, and anyone who is in the mood to go all out can choose a VIP pass. Maine lobsters can be ordered ahead of time as well, and kids’ passes are also available.
