It will soon be that time of year again. Many of those who call McAllen home will find themselves scrambling to find the perfect holiday gift, and an upcoming event may just have the idea they need.
The McAllen Convention Center has reserved a November weekend for a special event all about retail therapy. It will include gift ideas that range from jewelry to beauty aids, clothing, and many other items, and it will be open to members of the public as well as business and wholesale buyers.
While the guests at the event browse through the beads, jewelry and other products on offer, they can expect to find a lot of bargains. Many of the items will be on sale at 50% or more off the regular retail price, and as it will be a one-stop shopping style occasion, the attendees may even be able to walk away with their holiday gift buying complete.
The organizers of the day explained that they are always on the lookout for new vendors, and any businesses in the area that would like to participate are welcome to submit an application. Those that do may wish to have lots of Business Cards, Bags and Packaging supplies on hand, and Print companies can be counted to offer a wide selection of these items.
This chance for McAllen residents to get a jump start on their holiday shopping will be open to the public from November 22 until November 24. The doors will remain open from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
