McAllen High School and the McAllen Independent School District are offering the public a chance to learn more about how mobile devices have impacted the educational world, woth a one-day event this summer.
The school will be the venue for TECHnovate, which will be a showcase of how technology has created a paradigm shift in education. It will offer a chance to explore how it can be used to enhance the learning experience of local students, and there is no admission fee.
Handheld technology, such as iPads, Chromebooks, and other devices are all being used in McAllen schools in a variety of ways, and this showcase will highlight how they can foster both social collaboration and creativity. The public will find out some of the innovative ways that technology can be integrated into the curriculum, as well as how this can play an important role in making sure the pupils are well prepared for their future.
