The 5th annual Women Veterans Seminar is an event geared specifically to the challenges faced by women vets, and it will also provide socializing and networking opportunities. The function will be spread out over two days, with dinner and entertainment on the agenda for the first night.
On the second day, the attendees will be able to take part in a breakout session, and coffee and pastries will be served. The delegates can discuss issues they have faced as well as how they overcame them, and a variety of community service providers and vendors will be on site with booths and other displays. The goal is for the women who participate to leave the function with a vision for their future, and be better informed about what supports exist to help them achieve their goals.
The women who plan on attending the seminar have been given an opportunity to purchase a T-shirt that features a unique graphic design. The monies raised through the sale of these Promotional Products will be used to help fund future sessions of the Women's Veterans Seminar.
The Tropical Texas Behavioral Health Conference Center in Weslaco will be the venue for this special event. It will be held on September 24 and 25.
