The holiday season, an online event will give McAllen residents a chance to enjoy a live music experience, and it will feature a selection of popular favorites.
The Valley Symphony Orchestra (VSO) Brass will be combining the talents of its members with those of VSO harpist Delane Leonard to provide an evening of entertainment, and the tunes will range from classical to contemporary. As it takes place online, everyone can tune in from wherever they happen to be, whether they are local or on the other side of the world.
The lineup for the hour-long performance includes Feliz Navidad, Sleigh Ride and Let it Snow, and those who enjoy classical tunes will hopefully appreciate the inclusion of pieces by Jan Koetsier and Benjamin Britten. The whole family can pour a mug of hot cocoa and grab a candy cane to add some extra festive touches to the occasion, and it is free to view the event.
