Coffee and paint combine for creativity in McAllen
Coffee lovers with an interest in art will be feeling lucky next month, as a community event in McAllen will combine the best of both worlds.
The Canvas and Coffee creative experience is coming to town soon, giving area residents and interested parties an exciting way to start their day. Guests who sign up for the event will be greeted with a warm mug of coffee upon arrival to spur creativity and help energy levels rise.
The goal of the event is to help participants let go of stress and activate the creative centers in their brains while spending time with like-minded individuals. The painting session will be led by an instructor with significant painting experience. Participants will receive instructions and tips to enhance their skills and improve their painting outcomes. Print shops can help guests at such events create copies of their finished works to share with family and friends.
