Megastar to appear in Houston

One of the biggest music stars in the world is coming to Houston in a few weeks.

Taylor Swift hails from West Haven, Pennsylvania, where she fell in love with musical theater when she was nine. She did not remain with musicals, however, and instead moved to country music, with Shania Twain as her inspiration. She performed at local festivals on weekends, and decided to move to Nashville after seeing a documentary about Faith Hill.

She was 14 at the time she relocated, and the move paid off, as the Sony/ATV publishing house hired her as a songwriter immediately. Her extraordinary success has often been credited to her relatable lyrics and her ability to create a memorable hook.

Swift has become known for the way in which she can play with different genres but still sound like herself. For instance, “I Knew You Were Trouble” borrows some of its sound from dubstep, while “Shake It Off” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” are both unashamedly pop songs. All three are wildly different from her early work in country music.

With dozens of awards and millions of dollars in sales, Swift is one of the best-selling artists in the world. A review says:

“Taylor Swift made me cry hysterically, she is actually a goddess.”

Taylor Swift will be at the NRG Stadium in Houston on April 23. Gracie Abrams and Beabadoobee are also on the bill. Eye-catching Posters advertising events like this can be created using professional poster printing.
