Houston hosts shellfish celebration

Houston’s shellfish fans may want to make sure they loosen their belts before they head to an event planned with all ages in mind.

The organizers of the All You Can Eat Crawfish Day festival have pulled out all the stops when planning the celebration. It will include not just shellfish, but a selection of sides as well.

The six-hour-long activity will offer free admission to those who RSVP in advance, and the food will be priced a la carte. The attendees can purchase crawfish for $10 a pound, while Bags of sides will be $5 each. A $35 VIP all-you-can-eat pass will be on offer for those with a really big appetite, and frozen drinks and draft beer will be flowing. Everyone can relax while they play a game, take in the live entertainment, maybe even win a prize.

The planners of the celebration are interested in hearing from any local vendors who feel the function is a good fit for them. Vendor spaces are $100 plus booking fees, and interested groups have until the event day to sign up. Festival and other functions may call for a variety of specialized printing services, which can be accessed from an area Print professional.

Houston foodies will find lots to talk about when they attend this seafood feast planned for Saturday, May 24. Leeland House will be hosting the festivities.
