Houston families register for clothing swap

Kids can grow quickly, and a clothing swap scheduled for Houston may help to take some of the financial bite out of keeping up.

A clothing swap is on the way to the city, and it's been organized by Conscious Consumer Collective. It will be geared towards children from newborn to 12 years old, and at the time this was written, tickets were still on offer.

Once they have purchased their ticket, each attendee has been asked to bring along gently used clothing to swap. They can exchange them for pieces for their own children's wardrobe, and while they do, they will be helping to cycle clothes through the community instead of having it end up in a landfill.

Along with the kids clothing exchange, the ticket holders will be able to browse through the pop-up market, and it will be filled with business from their local neighborhood.

Budget-friendly booths and table drapes and other décor can be prepared by a local printing services provider alongside small Promotional Products to distribute to a crowd at events like this.

Houston is invited to register now for the Children’s Clothing Swap, which will help to make sustainability a lot more fun. It will open its doors at 12:00 pm on Sunday, July 26th, and its location will be 2000 Edwards Street. Tickets are available through its Eventbrite listing.
