Houston venue hosts annual plant sale

Choosing to garden with native plant species can bring big benefits for both the human and natural worlds, and a Houston activity will help to make this easier.

Green and brown thumbs alike will be heading to the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center this March for a spring themed plant sale, and native species will be front and center. It will be open for two days, and there will be a wide selection to choose from.

No matter what their growing conditions may be, the sale will have options for almost everyone. As both perennials and annuals will be in the mix, it will provide a way to quickly add color to a garden, and native grasses, shrubs, trees, and a variety of milkweeds will also be in the mix, all of which can all help to attract pollinators and other wildlife. To thank members for their support and patronage, they will be offered a special discount on their purchases.

Pop-up plant sales and horticultural markets may attract considerable attention from the gardening public. Not-for-profit groups that host these events as fundraisers may choose to order special Promotional Products including cloth shopping Totes, and their graphic design team can prepare a logo or other branding for the occasion.

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center has scheduled its annual Plant Sale for March 20 and 21, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on both days. Everyone is asked to enter by using the venue's 610 entrance.
