Houston families with school-age kids may want to save the date for a function designed to help them get the materials they need to return to their classes.
The Houston Back to School Shopping Bash will add even more excitement to the month of August. Many small businesses from the local area have already added their name to the vendor list and will be on site at the Marq E. Entertainment Center.
While the kids and parents enjoy browsing through the vendor tables set up for the day, they can meet local makers and small business owners. They will have an opportunity to make sure their child is well kitted out for the upcoming school year, and prize draws, face painting and other fun are in the works as well.
To thank members of the public for their support, the first 100 shoppers to arrive will receive a special goodie bag filled with Promotional Products that may be helpful in the pursuit of their studies. These corporate gits have been donated by the businesses signed up for the event.
The Houston Back to School Shopping Bash will be getting the new academic year off with a bang on Saturday, August 12. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at 7620 Katy Tollway in Houston, and is free to attend.
