Houston birders have been reminded to save the date for a week of activities focused on their fine feathered friends.
The city will be celebrating Houston Bird Week in late September, and it will welcome the millions of migratory birds passing through, as well as those that make the area their permanent home. Other initiatives, including its Lights Out for Birds program, have helped the community to earn its designation as a Bird City, and the festivities will highlight these efforts.
The week will be filled with workshops, tours, birding excursions, and other activities, and both in-person and virtual sessions have been planned. Watch parties and trivia nights will add an extra touch of fun, and there will be family-friendly options as well. These will be on offer in various locations in the city and the surrounding areas, and a full agenda will be released closer to its scheduled date.
Locals may really look forward to the return of a yearly event. A poster printing company can help to build the buzz in a community by supplying a variety of marketing materials, as well as a Logo Design.
Houston will be celebrating its winged wonders with Bird Week events from September 21 to September 28. The Houston Audubon website will be updated as new details come in.
