A Houston fundraiser has been organized in support of those living with lupus, a serious autoimmune disease that can impact life in a number of ways.
The charity of choice for the 2nd annual Mary Hudson Memorial Crawfish Festival will be the Texas Gulf Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America. It is scheduled for the end of April, with tickets still available at the time of writing.
Whether they are a landlubber or a seafood fan, the whole family may enjoy the shellfish feast. There will be lots of crawfish on the menu and this will be paired with live entertainment supplied by a variety of bands from the local area. There will be an assortment of games and contests on the agenda as well, and while they enjoy themselves, attendees will help to support those living with lupus.
Custom decor and tableware can add to the experience for diners at this sort of event. This can be prepared by local Print shops, which will be able to work with most budgets.
This chance for Houston shellfish fans to have their fill will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 27. The festivities will be on offer at 316 Buckingham Drive. Tickets for the event start at $50 each and are available from the Eventbrite listing.
