Mothers of special needs children have made plans to kick off the upcoming holiday season with a pop-up market.
Steel Magnolia Moms recently announced that it has scheduled a shopping party in Houston to help everyone get into the holiday mood. It will run for one day only, and The Powder Keg has been chosen to host the activity.
The pop-up will see makers, crafters, and artisans set up shop alongside small business owners, and there will be enough space for at least 60 sellers. Everything from clothing to gourmet food produced in small batches will be on offer, and proceeds will be used by the organization to fund its programs for families with special needs kids. The function will take place indoors, so the attendees will not have to worry about the weather.
A makers' market gives community crafters and the general public a chance to connect, making them valuable to the small business that participate. To help them prepare, business card printing services for any size of company will be on offer at a local printer.
Steel Magnolia Moms will be getting the winter holiday season off to a festive start with its Holiday Market on Thursday, November 2. It will be open to the public from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at 1300 Brittmoore Road.
