Type 1 Diabetes impacts many who call Texas home, and a Houston fundraiser will provide the public with an opportunity to take aim at the disease.
The Promise Ball, one of the signature events for JDRF, helps to fund research into new treatments for juvenile diabetes. Its Promise Ball, which will be held at the Hilton Americas, will be a gala affair honoring Dr. Pam Carmain, and several other heroes to the cause will be celebrated as well.
The guests at the event will be able to enjoy a program emceed by Drew Dougherty, who is the host of Houston Texans TV, and several special guests will address the crowd. A silent auction is on the agenda, and the attendees can also take part in the excitement of a live auction as well. Raffles, wine pulls and other fun have been planned, and individual tickets start at $500 each.
Signature fundraisers are often sumptuous affairs, and may be heavily marketed to the local community. A banner printing company can prepare high quality decor that adds a special final touch to a celebration, and it may incorporate a not for profit group’s Logo Design.
The 2024 JDRF Promise Ball will be helping to find a cure for type diabetes on April 13th. The doors of the event will open at 6:00 pm.
