Touching exhibition continues in Houston

The exhibit "Stories of Survival: Object. Image. Memory." is now showing at Houston’s Holocaust Museum, and will be viewable until April of this year.

It contains over 60 artifacts, mainly from the World War II Holocaust, but will include ones from similar atrocities that took place in nations like Cambodia and Rwanda. Most of the artifacts included are everyday objects that were well-loved, such as dolls, teddy bears and cookbooks. Each item has a photograph beside it with handwritten observations about the item from survivors and family members.

This is a travelling exhibition that was originally produced by the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. It has visited several communities all across the US.

The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Admission for those aged 19 and over is $19, while for seniors, AARP members and active military it is $15.

The exhibition is one that will resonate with many people from Houston. To spread the word about important and educational events like this, printing services companies often provide advertising materials.

The exhibition is on display at the Holocaust Museum Houston in the Lester and Sue Smith Campus until Sunday, April 18. To learn more about this event, call 713-942-8000 or visit the museum's official website.
