Upcoming show to bring out cat lovers

Felines, Football and Fun is taking place next month for three days in nearby Deer Park. It is a presentation of the Gulf Coast Feline Foundation.

Approved by The International Cat Association (TICA), this global show is expected to feature over 225 cats of all breeds. The event will be filled with fun activities for cat lovers of all kinds.

Guests can enjoy watching cats take part in an agility course or they can watch them being judged by professionals. The public can vote for their favorite cat.

There will also be crafts for the kids, a costume contest and face painting. Vendors will be on hand to sell a wide variety of cat-related items including toys, clothing, and handmade jewelry. Several cats will also be available for adoption on site.

A Texas-style barbecue and beverages will be available to purchase, and a raffle and appearance by a local mascot will be part of the three-day event.

Flyer printing firms in Houston frequently help organizers advertise these types of events by providing marketing materials.

The cat show will be held at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center in Deer Park from January 24 to 26. Weekend passes are $10 for adults if purchased on Friday or $15 if bought on Saturday and Sunday, while tickets for children and seniors are $7 or $10.
