Houston SPCA plans Open House

The Houston SPCA hosts an assortment of public events throughout the year, and its Spring Open House for 2026 is fast approaching.

The organization speaks for those who are not able to speak for themselves, and it provides support and service for both companion and farm animals. It also offers wildlife a helping hand, and those who attend its Open House will get a behind-the-scenes look into its operations.

The public will be able to visit the Equine Care Center and learn how it looks after horses and donkeys, and there will be wildlife ambassadors and experts on hand to meet. The kids can have their faces painted, take part in a STEM activity, and enjoy a craft make-and-take, and balloon twisters will be performing as well. Promotional Products will be distributed on the day.

The organizers of the celebration are hoping that the attendees may meet and fall in love with a new member of their family, and pet adoptions will be available until 6:00 pm. Rescue and rehoming groups often order material prepared by a brochure printing company to hand out to new pet parents to give their new furry, feathery or scaly friend a great start.

Houston SPCA at 7007 Old Katy Road has scheduled its Open House for Saturday, April 25. It will run from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
