Houston foodies offered unique meal

Houston foodies will be enjoying a special dining experience, and it will help them to focus on the flavor and aroma of what is on their plate.

Ticketholders for the Dining in the Dark at Weights + Measures will don a blindfold before they begin their meal, which will consist of three courses. There are three menu options to choose from.

While those age 12 and up may take a seat, anyone age 16 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult. When they register, attendees will be asked to pick a meat, seafood, or vegan menu option, and there will be post-booking questions to answer. As raw seafood and meat may be included, anyone who cannot consume these items is asked to let the organizers know on their questionnaire.

The experience costs $64, with drinks and tips not included. The menu will not be released in advance, and the lights will be out throughout the dinner.

Eateries of all kinds may be able to make use of the services available at local poster printing companies. They can supply a range of marketing materials that encourage the public to check an establishment out in person.

Dining in the Dark will offer an elevated experience for the senses on Sunday, April 19. The food will be served starting at 6:00 pm. Staff will guide everyone to their seat, and guests are asked to arrive a bit early so they can get settled in.
