Working at a zoo may be a dream job for many, and a Houston event will give the public an opportunity to explore possible career choices.
Houston Zoo has scheduled a Career Fair, and it will be an in-person meet and greet where attendees can connect with representatives of the various Zoo departments and find out what sorts of jobs are available. The Brown Education Center will be the location for the function, which will run for two hours.
The facility has positions ranging from hands-on animal care to marketing, housekeeping, horticulture, and IT. The attendees can ask the various representatives questions and find out if it is a good fit with their career goals. SSA Group, which provides food service to the zoo, will have a representative on site. The activity may be helpful to those hoping to change their current position or who are just starting out.
Registrants need to sign up in advance and are reminded to be prepared to meet staff and apply for any open positions that catch their eye, with Copies of their résumé recommended. Stationery printers can supply a range of materials for such an event, including application Forms and promotional Pens.
The team at Houston Zoo is looking forward to meeting some future colleagues during the Career Fair on Thursday, September 24 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details are available on its website so that those interested can fully prepare for the opportunity.
