The Shop Small Houston conference and expo is taking place over three days next month.
The first two days of the event is the conference, which is set to feature a number of workshops. Topics include branding, marketing, social media, and business grant writing. There is the opportunity for one-on-one mentoring sessions and there will be two keynote luncheons taking place too.
The last day is the Expo portion, which will feature a wide variety of small businesses from the Houston area. There will be lots of opportunities for shopping and prizes, plus live entertainment. Attendees can also apply for business grants of up to $5,000.
Exhibitor space is still available. Fees are $499 for a 10x10-foot booth, $749 for 10x20 and $1,149 for 20x20. Sponsorships can also be purchased from $500 up to $5,000, and all sponsors will be recognized in the event's Print advertising.
Those in Houston who are involved in the day to day operation of a small business will likely want to attend at least part of this free event, with those who work in marketing services sure to be especially interested.
The Shop Small Houston conference and expo will be held at the NRG Center from April 7 to 9. Call 281-975-9641 for more information about the workshops, renting a booth, or becoming a sponsor.
