The Bayou comes to Houston

The Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park 2015 will take place in the early spring in Houston, bringing hundreds of artists and vendors to the city.

Offering a full day of fun consisting of art, food, beer, wine, and entertainment, the festival attracts thousands of visitors. A special feature, the Green Mountain Energy Children’s Creative Zone, is a popular family-friendly attraction.

More than 450 artists from a number of disciplines will participate in the festival. Offering a full range of artistic crafts, it is likely there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Local restaurants and food trucks will be on hand to offer their finest culinary specialties. Often, vendors displaying in a booth use the services of a local Print company. Banner printing is a frequent request for the vendors to have signage depicting the company name.

The Bayou City Art Festival is produced by the Art Colony Association. The mission of the entity is to promote art while creating public awareness of art. The organization is a non-profit association.

The Art Colony Association was founded in 1972 and has raised more than $35m for regional nonprofit organizations. City of Houston grants providing funding, as does the Houston Arts Alliance.

The Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park 2015 will take place March 27 to 29 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.
