The 2nd annual Houston Mac + Cheese Festival is taking place next month. It is a fundraiser for the Washington Avenue Arts District.
Forty of the best restaurants in the city will be showcasing their best macaroni and cheese dishes and the public will have the opportunity to vote for People’s Choice Best Mac and Cheese. Tickets to the event include unlimited food so everyone will be able to try as many of the dishes as they can.
In addition to food, there will also be drinks for sale, musical entertainment and art displays. There will also be a number of local vendors on hand to sell arts and crafts and general merchandise.
VIP tickets are available for $85 which includes being admitted an hour earlier, access to the VIP lounge and unlimited drink tickets.
This event will be a good opportunity for local restaurants to make their name known to the public and to attract new customers.
