Performance showcases talented students in Houston

The HISD Fine Arts Extravaganza is taking place early next month in Houston.

A presentation of the Houston Independent School District, the event will feature performances by students from Kindergarten up to Grade 12. There will be choirs, bands, and orchestras performing, together with dance demonstrations, theatre productions, and visual arts displays. One of those bands expected to perform at this year's extravaganza is the Kashmere Marching Band, who have appeared at the Houston ISD Marching Band Festival in past years.

The aim of the event is to showcase fine arts programs offered to students in the Houston area. It is also meant to show the importance of those programs to an all-round education.

To advertise events like this one, organizers will often invest in the services of a Houston flyer printing firm. This will provide them with an item that can be inexpensively and easily distributed to all parts of the city.

The HISD Fine Arts Extravaganza will be held at the Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park on May 4 from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are free for the covered section of the theater but must be reserved and are limited to four per person. There is also open seating on the hill surrounding the theater, which does not require tickets. For more information about this event, call 281-373-8386.
