The 3rd annual Houston Reggae Fest, which was originally planned to take place on April 4, has been moved to June.
Presented by the International Reggae Group, the festival is set to feature some of the top reggae, soca and dancehall performers in the area. Among those slated to appear at this year's festival are Kevin Lyttle and Nando Boom. Besides the music, there will also be plenty of traditional Jamaican and Caribbean food to try. Vendors will also be on hand to sell merchandise, souvenirs, arts and crafts, and prepared food and drinks.
Vendors spaces are still available. Fees vary depending on category, some of those categories include $400 for corporate, $100 for arts and crafts, and $255 for a food truck. Vendors can also pay $150 to be a featured vendor. Each vendor will receive a 10 x 10-foot booth; electricity is $100 extra and extras space is also $100.
VIP passes can be purchased for $100 and include food, a cash bar and shaded seating. Other ticket prices are $10 for general admission and $25 for enhanced GA, which includes a T-shirt and a souvenir.
