Houston pets in need will be getting a helping hand, thanks in part to a locally based fundraising event.
This year will make the 11th year in which the Wag and Whiskers brunch has taken place in the community, and it will benefit housebound seniors who find it hard to access food, preventative vet care, and toys for their companion animal. The charity of choice for the occasion will be the Animeals program, and all support will be appreciated.
The theme for the celebration will be “Bow Wow West,” and a fashion show featuring some celebrity pets is on the agenda, produced by Todd Ramos. Both a lunch and a silent auction are in the works, and everyone has been asked to add even more fun to the day by weaning rodeo chic or Western-style attire. Individual tickets are $250, and table sponsors and other sponsorship opportunities have been organized as well.
Offering those who are homebound a helping hand when it comes to caring for their pets may make a positive impact in a community. A poster printing company can make sure as many as possible know about upcoming fundraisers and other events.
The 2024 Wags and Whiskers luncheon will be showing some love to Houston’s pet set on February 17. Hotel ZaZa in the Museum District will be the venue for the fun.
